Apostolos is an entrepreneur turned investor. He started his career at Boston Consulting Group where he spent 2 years before joining the startup world. On his entrepreneurial path, he has co-founded e-shop.gr, e-food, Doctoranytime and was also a key investor and member of the board at Beat until the sale of the company to Daimler. Since 2010 he has invested and supported a large number of startups with a focus on consumer software and marketplaces. He studied civil engineering at NTUA and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

George Dimopoulos

George has been an angel investor since 2011 investing in Seed and occasionally in pre-Seed companies. He has a rich finance/deal structuring experience stemming from his 4-year tenure with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London where he was involved in numerous transactions with total EV c. €17bn across multiple geographies. At Venturefriends, he enjoys working with Fintech and Proptech founders while he has a soft spot for B2C & B2B SaaS companies. George holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Pavlos Pavlakis

Pavlos has a combination of startup and finance background. He was Head of Strategy & Finance at Quiqup, a London-based marketplace startup, where he led a £20m Series B funding round. He previously worked in Structuring & Transaction Execution at CapInvest in London, investing mostly in Real Estate among other asset classes from multiple funds with $500m in total AuM. Pavlos holds a BSc Mathematics and Economics degree from London School of Economics and an MSc Finance degree from Imperial College Business School.

Michal Bas

Michał has been involved in the venture capital ecosystem for the past 4 years. He worked as an Investment Associate at TDJ Pitango Ventures, a Polish-Israeli VC fund, as well as PFR Ventures, the largest Fund-of-Funds in the CEE region, operating in the VC space. Michał holds an MSc in Strategic Management from HEC Paris, as well as BA in Economics and Business with East European Studies at University College London (UCL).

Alistair Owen

Alistair has a background in operations and deep tech. He spun up the CleanTech vertical at Deep Science Ventures, building several ventures to accelerate the net-zero transition. He previously worked at BP as an engineer and later, screening technology concepts for BP Ventures. Alistair holds an MEng in Materials Science and Nuclear Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from IE Business School.

George Karabelas

He has been actively involved with startups since 2011 when he founded Agrendo and he also co-founded ThinkBiz; the first student Entrepreneurship club in Greece. Fivos Tsoukatos

Fivos has a finance and engineering background. He was working in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse in London for more than 3 years, where he was involved in several big-scale M&A and financing transactions within the global Transport, Infrastructure & Energy sector. He previously worked at MSEA Capital, an investment fund based in Tel Aviv. Fivos holds an MEng in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in Finance degree from Cass Business School. Danai Kotsiopoulou

Danai has a background in Consulting. Her latest role was with PwC Greece, where she engaged in large-scale consulting projects for the public sector ranging from policy-making and strategy development to public enterprise restructuring, government process reengineering, monitoring, and impact evaluation. Throughout her studies, she worked at a UK-based startup, the United Nations, and a multinational advertising agency. She holds a BA in Philosophy from University College London (UCL) and a Masters in Management from London Business School (LBS).
